The 70th Anniversary celebration of Our Lady of Apostles (OLA) Girls Senior High School in Ghana marked a significant event, acknowledging its rich history in girls’ education. The festivities, including a grand durbar on February 3, were attended by Her Excellency Samira Bawumia, the Second Lady of the Republic.
Themed “Reflecting on 70 Years of Holistic Catholic Education: Engaging Technology and Entrepreneurship for the Future,” the week-long celebration began with a walk on January 30, highlighting the school’s legacy while embracing future advancements.

However, she also highlighted ongoing challenges affecting academic performance and called for additional assistance, particularly regarding overcrowded classrooms, dormitory renovations, and limited transportation.
Despite the challenges, the Headmistress assured that OLA Girls would persist in striving for excellence both regionally and nationally.
