At a lavish event held on their Cantonments campus in Accra, Explorers School revealed its brand-new Primary Explorers division, marking a significant milestone in Ghana’s educational history.
Together with parents, officials, educators, and community leaders celebrated this important effort. With motivational speeches emphasizing the importance of Primary Explorers, the ceremony got underway.
The school’s distinctive philosophy is highlighted by Mrs. Katherine Kartey, Principal of Primary Explorers: “At Primary Explorers, we believe in nurturing each child’s individual strengths, passions, and talents.”
She thanked parents for their confidence and emphasized the value of working together to shape education’s future.
“Our story began in 2007 with a dream – to establish the first accredited Montessori school in West Africa,” said the school’s founder, Kamilla Kirpalani, reflecting on the journey.
She emphasized their dedication to providing excellence and fostering in each pupil a profound respect for Ghanaian culture.
The Minister of Education, Mrs. Mamle Andrews, emphasized the value of contemporary learning environments. “A new chapter in Ghanaian education is being ushered in with the launch of Primary Explorers,” the speaker declared.
After the remarks, attendees took a guided tour of the painstakingly constructed building, which complied with the exacting requirements of the Cambridge curriculum. Mrs. Kartey said, “This space fulfills the high standards set by Cambridge,” in reference to the tour. “We establish a setting that encourages cooperation, critical thinking, creativity, and academic performance”.
Observing the hardworking group and their outstanding accomplishments personally inspired hope and enthusiasm for Ghana’s educational future. With Primary Explorers, the next generation of inventors, explorers, and leaders is well-positioned to be raised.
